Enabling two leading science and technology organisations, one pioneering AI-driven drug discovery, the other advancing genomic surveillance, to unlock their agility and potential in a rapidly changing world.

By partnering closely with their talented teams, we co-created practical frameworks that brought everyone together around a clear purpose and flexible ways of working. This collaborative journey strengthened team alignment, boosted adaptability, and empowered individuals to thrive amid constant change.

Grounded in extensive in-house leadership experience, these insights now shape tailored solutions designed to help organisations unlock their potential through sustainable alignment, foster collaborative cultures, and apply approaches finely tuned to their unique context.

The Future of Genomics: Workshops That Imagine 2050

Wellcome Sanger Institute

At the Sanger Institute, a series of forward-looking workshops brought together experts from diverse disciplines to chart bold new directions for genomics and life sciences. Facilitating two lively, two-day workshops, I combined rigorous exploration with a collaborative and enjoyable atmosphere, each focused on themes shaping the next quarter-century of biological research.

I also led a half-day session for Sanger staff, sparking conversations about the future of genomic research within the institute and exploring emerging opportunities and challenges.

These sessions fostered thoughtful discussion and strengthened connections across disciplines, generating valuable insights that continue to inform ongoing conversations about genomics’ potential to influence research and health outcomes in the decades ahead.

Leadership Alignment Workshop

At the Sanger Institute, senior leaders from the strategy team sought to unite their diverse responsibilities around a clear and compelling mission. I facilitated a leadership workshop day designed to bring this vision to life.

We navigated discussions, alignment exercises, and action planning, uncovering how they could better support each other, their teams, and the wider organisation. By the end of the day, the team had forged a shared charter and practical steps to turn their renewed purpose into impactful, collaborative action.

The Future Navigating Complexity and Conflicting Demands

Supporting a Senior Professional

In a highly pressured and complex environment, a senior professional faced a relentless influx of work and competing priorities. With a process combining coaching and workflow streamlining, I helped them untangle conflicting demands and clarify what was realistically achievable. Using structured prioritisation frameworks and reflective coaching, we identified key focus areas and developed practical strategies to manage workload sustainably.

This support enabled the client to regain clarity, reduce overwhelm, and make confident decisions under pressure.

Company Conference Day

Genomic Surveillance Unit

At a vibrant conference bringing together all 90 members of the organisation, I co-hosted alongside a team member to celebrate and showcase their work.

I organised engaging activities to spark participation, kept the agenda on track, and took on a role as master of ceremonies, helping to create an energised and inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt involved and the day unfolded smoothly.

Briticana Music Showcase

At the Cambridge Junction J2 venue, I took on the role of MC for the Briticana Showcase, a dynamic music event celebrating British artists with diverse influences and heritage. I introduced performers, conducted artist interviews (and even performed myself under my stage name). Through thoughtful stage links and engaging interactions, I sought to weave the varied acts into a seamless, engaging evening that celebrated each artist’s unique contribution.
